Sports Interactive heeft de grote winter update uitgebracht voor Football Manager 2021. Deze patch bevat tal van verbeteringen aan het spel, maar natuurlijk ook alle transfers van de maand januari.
Over een paar weken volgt er een tweede update, deze zal dan de transfers bevatten die nog in februari voltooid zijn. Dit zijn voornamelijk transfers uit landen waar de transfer markt pas in februari haar deuren heeft gesloten. Er worden ook nog patches verwacht voor FM Mobile en de Xbox versie.

Hoe installeer je de patch?
Start Football Manager 2021 op en het spel zal dan zelf automatisch de patch downloaden en installeren. Als je de game aan hebt staan zal je deze moeten sluiten en opnieuw opstarten. De meeste aanpassingen aan het spel zijn savegame-compatible, maar voor de veranderingen aan competitieregels en de verwerkte winter transfers is een nieuwe game nodig.
Belangrijk
Met de komst van de nieuwe patch zijn ook heel veel data editor files, waaronder de MU Update niet meer compatible. Je kunt het nog wel gebruiken, maar dan dien je de 21.2 database te selecteren.
